In september last year
So far I've been found lucky to have inherited my mother's gens when it comes to weight gain and swelling during my pregnancy; the only two mother specific pieces of clothing I've bought are a really comfy mama pair of jeans (Citizen of all mankind) and an even more comfy pair of black mama tights (H&M). Both of those as well as ten pair of mama stockings - have saved me so far.
I try to use as many normal dresses as possible, longer cashmere cardigans and stretchy skirts and simply add a cotton top to match. To complete the outfit, a little waist cardigan or bolero fits just fine, until now.
I also miss wandering around in heels but my SPD (foglossning) and the quite intense contractions that come frequently during day and nightime have left me with little choice but ballerinas or other flatter variations. And because of my condition, my walk is not very sexy anymore so heels might not fit anyway considering the pinguin walk I have been forced to adopt.
But I love my belly and I love the beautiful feelings I get from the pregnancy. People on the streets tend to be really kind, caring and very concerned - which in our society nowadays has become quite rare to find with people you don't know.
