I know you all want me to write about the actual birth - and I will, but I forgot my reading glasses at the hospital so M needs to go and fetch them before I can write about the beautiful but crazy story it is to give life to a child. I will share parts of it, but I think it is important not to tell too much. I know plenty of pregnant women read this blog and I don't want to impact or frighten them because every birth is unique. Why nature decided to have the little child coming out of the female vagina is a mystery for me, and every clever person understands what we're talking about is a kind of pain beyond imagination. Then some births are short, others are long. Some are easier and others are harder and more complicated. We can never predict in which category we will end, but we can prepare ourselves for everything by taking some weeks before the birth and really try to rest, eat a lot of food, do things that makes you feel good - so you have plenty of energy and are in balance with yourself when the final day actually comes.
One thing I can say before talking to much about this now, is that giving birth is always a positive, wonderful experience, and the biggest moment of your life ... because in the end you will have a child. And THAT incredible experience of becoming a mother makes us able to go through this birth process again and again. The happiness and love I feel, the balance, harmony and joy ... is beyond words.
And though my birth was quite hard, intensive and long, I would do it all again when I see the result.
