Ohhh, so much joy and happiness comes from our little son. But like all mothers out there probably already know, there is also lack of sleep. Little A has always been waking me up during nights and I usually complained when he did so 3 - 4 times per night. But since two weeks he wakes up about 6 - 8 times per night and can't get back to sleep unless he gets a little bit of "food/breast". It is devastating for my sleep and I just wonder if anyone has experience with this that they would like to share? He is almost 18 weeks old now and I know that he is in big development phase, starting to process the impressions he gets during daytime. But when is it normally getting better? Or are there any tips or tricks?
When he wakes up at night, he generally lies in his own bed clear awake and bubbly, as if he was waiting for the morning to come and the sun to rise. But if I just let him be, he will soon start to cry, so leaving him there makes no sense.
During daytime he sleeps 3-4 times, 45 minutes - 1 hour each time and that is something he needs. But it's always good to hear from people who have babies in the same age as ours or has experienced similar situations. What did you do? When did it become better?
