Zürich halo

Alexis and I walked the 25 minutes from our apartment to the city-city yesterday. We have the lake next to us and it is like a fairy tale landscape in wintertime and this very typical halo is acting like a filter and the icy, beautiful light shines through it. I haven't seen this kind of fog/halo/filter anywhere else, but I do think it is doing something magical to the lake.
It was incredibly cold and the wind was slapping my face. It felt like ten degrees less than it actually showed on the thermometer. I am not exaggerating the harsh cold: my camera died in the middle of it. I guess it hates these frosty temperatures also.

  2. Yes Stina and that since 15 days, it means that we are frozen and there are big problems with all canalisations which broke everywhere in France. Plus the frozen winfs (10 degrees less felt!).
Good luck, it is not finished.....
You can make beautiful pictures of the lake if you have the courage!
