This New Years Eve 2013 was planned to be celebrated just the two of us in a easy and relaxed way to get some quality time with a emotional touch to it. Having the best spot ever with perfect food and drinks, looking over the view of Stockholm and all the fireworks while discussing life and exploring love. But in the last minute we had friends over and I had to cook a three course dinner very fast.
In a run I did the spicy mango/shrimp/chili cocktail I've wrote about before and then fresh lobster for everyone, cooked in the owen with a sherry/parsley butter. I combined it with a small chanterelle soup on the side with a collie flowers and potato mousse, tipped with butter and parmegiano to enhance the flavours.
It was truly a perfect night and evening, just as cosy and nice as I've hoped for.
