Who is it?

I know I've probably taken this too far, but all I can think about and dream of - is the gender of the baby. Will my little son have a little N as a sister or a little L as a brother? It makes all the difference for me! I would be happy with both, but even so ... I need to know! I will find out when coming to Stockholm in less then two weeks and I just can't wait to find out!
All old myths about the gender, if you should trust them, says it's a boy. But who knows, last time I was sure it was a girl for the massive sickness and vomiting.
My belly looks more or less the same as with Alexis except it's slightly bigger in a earlier stage, but there are minor things that I feel is different this time, if that would be the sign of a girl? Who knows. All I can tell you is that I'm soooo eager to find out!

  1. I can totally understand you - the moment, the doctor told me was the best one.
With the knowing about gender you have a name and its a person in you.

The first three months I was so sure it will be a boy and now its a girl and I can't be happier.

    When you will find out?

Best wishes and all the best,

  3. me too, haha ;)

what would you like it to be? go tell!

when i was pregnant with my second child i wanted a little girl because i already had a boy...but it turned out to be a boy... now i´m the queen of a house full of men, haha but that´s how i see it and i love it that way!

when i knew it was a boy i was a little bit disappointed at first and people always kept saying that the most important thing was that the baby was healthy but i knew it was healthy, i never had a negative thought about the health. i just wanted a little girl. in the end it doesn´t matter, but if i´d be in this situation again i know i´d be hoping for a girl again...haha but you can´t always get what you want, sometimes you get what you need (i think it´s a song....???)

    1. I would love to have one of both! But in the same way, Alexis is so adorable so two boys is fine too. Just a lot of wildness and energy I guess!

Thank you dearly for sharing your story!

  5. Oh yes a wonderful beautiful little girl like you... It would be so nice. Of course once here a little boy will be also nice but to arrange a girl with clothes etc etc. We call that in Frrnch. "The Choice of the King" ! And Alexs will older, it would be perfect.
    So wait and see...

    1. A little girl would be so fascinating, and of course, to share my interest with her would be amazing!

But I think it's a boy, we'll soon find out!

  7. Either way I'm sure you, M and Alexis will all be delighted but "le choix du roi" as Uta (and the French) say would be lovely. I'm lucky enough to be expecting a little boy in a few weeks to join my daughter and am looking forward to meeting our new family member.

Can I take the opportunity to ask where the beautiful cushion A is leaning on is from?

Also, a small piece of advice with regards to your garden post - don't rush into getting a house, it seems to me that the pulse of the city is important to you and that you are yet to fully settle in Zurich. You have had (and will continue to have) so many changes in the recent past and near future that perhaps it would be wise to take a moment and enjoy and adapt to them before taking on a big move and lifestyle change since in Zurich it is hard (expensive) to find a garden within the city itself. Just my two cents - of course you will know what is best for you and your family

    Kind regards
    Nina

    1. Thank you very much Nina and congratulations to the little boy on its way! Having a boy is such a treasure, you will find out! Very different from a girl but they are just so captivating! I'm so happy to have one and see him grow up as a man.

The pillow is from a French fabric, probably five years old and I don't remember the name unfortunately.

Yes, very true with the house. I love changes and need them, but sometimes i get them too much and then i suffer from it. We've actually found a house, but I reconsider it for the enormous amount of money, time and renovation including in it. Plus! Then I wont have Paradeplatz 3 min from where I live ... And the lake 4 minutes from me.

thank you dearly for this comment!
