Car-style

Driving down to Geneva, is as normal nowadays as having my morning coffee. The road is extremely beautiful in certain areas, specially when you drive by Lausanne and arrive from the mountain and have the lake a couple of hundred meters down below and the sun is just about to go down and all of the houses are giving light sources, like small stars in the sky.
Sometimes the road down goes perfectly well with the little one, which means he falls asleep immediately and M and me can have a nice chat or I can take the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. But other times it's just an inferno in the car and Alexis hates it. It takes entertaining, in the approximately amount of three hours, to a different level and the fantasy has to go beyond singing and showing different cars or cows outside the window. Last night was one of those times, God was I exhausted after sitting turned back all way down, singing and amusing my little son and just trying to keep him as happy as possible until we arrived. A big glass of wine would have been perfect after that sort of Friday night exhibition.

  1. Haha poor Stina! I am also somewhat familiar with the "in car entertainment system" that I sometimes have to turn myself into when driving with my son. Beautiful Kenzo sweater!

    2. Exactly, very Kenzoish though! But paying 800Euro for a collage sweater where it says KENZO all over, no, that I wouldn't do. But this one is fun and works perfect in the playground or for traveling!

    3. I just saw a Tiger and immediately thought Kenzo, I so seldom see you wear things from H&M.

    1. No dear Uta, I haven't!

Everything is closed on Sunday which is such a pity because that's often the day where I actually have some time in Geneva to do whatever I want! With babysitting!

      Hugs,

  9. Dear Stina,

I have lived abroad a few times, and sometimes dream of living in some other country again, especially Switzerland, for example in Geneva or Lugano. It would be so interesting and helpful, if you would write your experiences of living in a foreign country and how you see your new life in Switzerland. What are the advantages and disadvantages compared to your life in Sweden and what things you wish you had done differently? I know you write about these things sometimes but it would be wonderful to hear more thoughts on this subject.

Your life and writings are an inspiration to me, you have such interesting view points and you also have great visual talent and you can capture moments so vividly with your camere lens! So thank you for your blog!
