The dress

For the second evening, I had this dress sent to me from the Swedish brand Greta, that I've always been such a great admirer of and I must own around 8-10 garments from her by now. The simplicity of the cut says everything and the quality of the silk even so. I love how simple, yet original it looks and how the long, long fabric flatters in the wind and with every step when walking. Normally she design her dresses shorter and with long sleeves, but this model is just so powerful and feminine. It has everything I could wish for in a dress, and even pregnant, I could wear it.
I combined it with some strong accessories, like this yellow necklace and my art deco clutch to enhance the simplicity of the shape and added some purple, suede heels from MiuMiu to make it stand out even more.
I don't know how many compliments I got on this outfit, but there was a lot. Thank you!

  1. Hej Stina,

Jättefin klänning:) Finns det möjlighet till att du kan ordna lite rabatt på Gretas klänningar? Skule jättegärna äga en men tyvärr kostar de rätt mycket.
    Önskar dig all lycka.

  7. Hi, could you not show (like sometime before) what you have packed for your vacationtrip? (Or just describe in writing). I always bring too much and find it so difficult when the weather is both warm and cold, the events both dressy and casual. But you always look put together, with nice accessories and not to dressed down or up. Thanks! Laila

    1. Laila,

It's all about combining the outfits on the bed, before you start packing them down. In that way you have them ready to wear, snap a picture with your phone to remind yourself on how you though it.

Always bring a cashmere sweater in a colour, easy to combine, small white/light grey/black tops or t-shirts to wear under or just as they are with a nice statement necklace above. I brought two pair of jeans, one blue and one black and had some cardigans (the Valentino) and the black bolero (seen on the blog before, from Lanvin) and with that you can combine endlessly and always look chic. I new there was at least two dressed up occasions so those outfits were prepared at home with shoes and accessories, in that way it took me latterly 10 min to get ready.

A poncho had to follow, will show a pic of that outfit later on and my cashmere coat in black from greta for these chillier evenings and for the fact that I'm always cold. I brought the simple Zara dress for pool time or just car trips and for casual stroll. that's about it!

      Good luck!

  8. Don't you just look fab. That lovely dress is very 1940's, and combined with the statement jewellery reminds me of the style of Wallace Simpson...which is odd considering she was never pregnant! It must be wonderfully comfortable, cool and refreshing in silk too.

  12. Hej! MVH Laila
