The end of my pregnancy in a beautiful pink Kimono

Not only did my man arrive late last evening but he also brought this parcel with this absolutely magnificent Kimono in a pink/purple tie dye. It comes from one of my favorite pages when it comes to original pieces of chic clothing. I just love how feminine, yet elegant it is and I will use it both like here, around the pool during lunch but also as a cape with jeans in the city.
Here you can also see HOW pregnant I am now (for those who wrote that I didn't look pregnant, I DO!), hitting nine months and counting the last days until little L joins our family.

(kimono: here)

  2. Brautiful you are with your kimono all together with same colours of flowers and nature and you have not taken weight into legs and breast only stomach it's incredible, you will loose very quick.
When do you expect to deliver? Hope you will be in ZH....
You were lucky to stay for so long into nature instead the town which is hot hot also last, days particularly today.
    Big hugs

    1. Dear Uta,

It's true it's only the belly who have taken on weight, don't know why but it was the same with Alexis. I long to be able to take morning walks or just walks in general though, I' haven't been able to because of my hips since the beginning of the pregnancy so my body is craving movements!

I'm happy you liked the colours, me too! So feminine! All the best to you!

  8. Hello Stina,

I wrote a few days ago this email to your stina_auer@live.se account, but I guess your email adres may changed?!
I 'm one of your readers and just want to let you know how inspiring your blog is.

I wrote you before, that was a comment about the nice -but also strange feeling to be

    pregnant with the second child....

My name is Julia, I'm a 36 old German, married to

a turkish guy. We have two daughters 6 & almost 4 years old. We live in Izmir/Turkey.

I share also the problem that my parents & sister are far away from me, what became a bigger problem for me much more, after I got my daughters...

the summers are long in Turkey, (3 month school holidays) we spending this time in our summer house in Cesme, having family and friends here from all over the World.( Cesme and Bodrum are the most popular & quality summer regions in Turkey) you should come and visit Turkey one day, I'm sure you'll like it.

You should see Istanbul- awesome Metropol, but I hightly recommend Cesme, it is really Turkey's Cote d'Azur.

I'm sure, that some people might be rude sometimes and maybe write some not so friendly comments, what make you feeling sad. I just wanted to let you know, how megacute you are I have a big sympathy for you and really liiiiiiiiiiikeee your blog. It is nice to read something from you every day, and see your nice pictures...

I also want to wish you all the very best for the birth of little L! Can't wait to see him.

Hope to meet you one day- maybe here in Turkey :-)

lots of love & light & hugs to you

    Julia
ps. you look very pregnant and stunning in your new Kimono

    1. Julia,

Such a nice comment! Thank you and very interesting to hear that you have somewhat the same situation. It's hard, but it also makes you grow as a human.

I've heard about these places in Turkey, especially Bodrum which is said to be very, very nice! As soon as my boys are a little bigger I have to take the family there, or maybe before with some girls only or just me and M for a couple of days!

Anyhow I wish you all the best and thank you for this very kind comment! It's totally my pleasure and I'm grateful to have such sweet readers like yourself!

      Best,
      stina

The best month to visit Turkey -with small children are May, June and September, also the beg of October can be still very warm. In July and August we reach temperatures until 45 degrees- to stay then in nothern Europe is the better choice! :-)
