A little something

We had one of my dearest friends over yesterday, fully packed with gifts from NK to each one of us. And not only that, she left her kids at home and Alexis and Leon was both sleeping, so you can imagine how lucky we both felt to be able to actually hang around, talk without being abrupt all the time. On top of that euphoria, she brought my favourite mint'n chocolate pralines ...
I felt pampered in all ways possible. Maybe she knew what was coming, because later that night we had two kids sick in a cold so the evening and the night was somewhat ... messy. I really have such a respect for all parents with two small children now when I'm starting to realise how much work it really is. Only to have Alexis feels like peanuts now when I think about it. How do parents do who's getting three in a row with only a few years apart? Amen to them!

  1. Oh, my absolute favorite chocolates. They are marvellous! But to bad they only have them in Stockholm (not Gothenburg). Since I don´t go there to often I get them so seldom.... Take care, Laila

  2. They say you are not married until you have a child.
And you are not a parent until you have two!

    :-)

I told my husband: if he wants three we are getting a live in nanny

Congratulations btw. You look amazing and Leon is beyond cute.

    1. Oh how wonderful :)
I want four in a row... how amazing to have 2 of each, but I wonder how to cope with it... I guess I would have to give up my career for that, which I currently am so reluctant to do...

Do you have a nanny (or two?)

    2. Anonymous: I salut for people like you and I would REALLY like to know HOW you manage life, every day etc. Do you as a couple have ANY time for each other? How do you put four small kids to bed at the same time?

      Let us all know!

    Kram

    1. Very true, I try to be in the moment with them here and now whatever we're doing. I know how time flies and this is so precious, we have to keep reminding each other of it!

  7. All I can say about children when they are small is that they are bring so much noice to the neighbourgs that we actually get mad each day..... Running, crying, etc etc.
So stay with your parents as long you can ! So, in Zh your neighbourgs are still quiet..
To have two or worse, more, it's awful when living in a flat....
And yes I understand that you are tired Stina.

  8. My children are allready older, but still not forgot the feeling when they slept their nap simultaneously! 1 hour, or even 2 just for yourself! It might feel hard at the moment, but think that after one year(or even faster)you will have it easier than one child families:)
