Readers Style?

I have six days of comments to respond to, which I love to do but time is not on my side at the moment and I really want to have t i m e when responding to all of my dear and faithful, clever and fascinating readers! I truly enjoy all of you and I am very humble to have so many interesting followers!

One of you opened the question (and many of you seem to think it was an fabulous idea) if I could not have a Readers Style Post, which would mean that the ones who wants to participate send in a picture to me (with or without face, anonymous or with name) - with their favourite outfit or look and I publish it and we can all be inspired by each other? Or what do you guys think? Is that what you meant? Please give me your ideas and I'll coordinate something!

If you would like to attend, email your look to stina_auer@live.se and in a weeks time I'll publish it.

This is by the way one of my favourite styles!

  3. Stina, I know you are busy but is that a 28 or 32 inch Kelly? Which size do you prefer?

    1. 32!!! 28 is too small for everyday use and fits best for evening dress I find!

  4. Yes, definitely a great idea!Would love to see Uta (have a picture built up about you;) and would love to see you in reality!
Honestly, i´m not brave enough, i don´t have any style and i think most of you would just ...;)
Thank you Stina, you´re not one of those bloggers which don´t have a look on the readers. You respond us, give us chances to win cosy cashmere things, and thats what i like the most about this blog. That its not about showing outfits but interact in a special way!
I wrote this some time ago:It would be so nice, if everyone writes in english. I love reading all the comments and i can hardly understand swedish;)I don´t won´t to
    Hugs,

    1. I totally would love if everyone could write in English also, but some don't feel comfortable in another language then their native one and therefor everyone can write in the one they feel good in!

I'm sure you would love lovely!

  6. As usual Stina had a wonderful idea but it would become a little be too complicate I think to mix up you and your faitfhfull readers and to imagine them through their so funny, intelligent and agreeable comments without any physical opinion which of course can change this fabulous relationship we have all together without knowing our standing of life, or physical.
Sure that is not the opinion of every one and they would be delighted to show some of their best pics but for me I like this mystery... Dear Lena you are so sincere, cute and kind thanks.
A big kiss to all and a particular one to our generous Stina.

  7. Bourbon: probably Stina prefers the 32. Too small the 28 if you are tall.

  9. Sounds good! I like your style very much and it would be very exiting to see what kind of style people reading your blog are having!

  10. I agree with Uta that the mystery and anonymity is part of the charm of the interaction among the readers. BUT I also think that the diversity of the readers is also part of the charm of Stina's blog. Wr are women of different ages, sizes, nationalities but still we come here because women all around the world are alike... we come to Stina's blog because we too are mothers, daughters, wives, fashion lovers... I think you don't have to do a daily readers style post, maybe monthly... e.g. October's Stylish Reader of The Month... That gives people time to think about what outfits to share xo

  11. It seems that everybody would like to watch somebody else, without showing themselves off too much....:D Me to, of course, but if you launch some Readers Style Corner, then I may even send a picture of myself ;-) But I think that such a place would probably require yet another platform, something like Stina's Vintage Store, which is accessible from here, but still makes a separate entity...

    1. But a separate platform would, of course, require more or less regular posting from the raders, which may be hard, at least at the beginning. I think it is a nice idea in general, yet you would need to think about the way you would like to will it into existence. I also think it could be a great opportunity to get some comments, advice and feedback on our sartorial struggle ;-) So I would be willing to participate in case you decide to start something.

  12. one question.your son is two years old and you visite the kindergarden,playground...in this clothes and shoes? And you are wearing silk tops and carry your baby around....please tell us, how it works .

    1. Dear Anonymous, as Stina already told us, she wore this silk top for a birthday party. For every day life she wears tights and t- shirts. Why letting yourself go when you are a young mother? I behaved in the same way when My boys where babies . / B.

    2. If you read my blog on a daily basis, I'm very honest with the fact that at home or when I go to the play in the park I wear more practical, yet nice looking clothes. But of course no CL heels in there!

  13. So agree with Marta, and kind of feel that way myself. Would love so see other peoples style (brands or no brands), but do not feel comfortable myself to show too much. But nobody needs to show their faces, and can choose which parts to show, right? //Laila

  14. Dear Stina, I think you should keep your blog the way it is. I enjoy it for the stylish and fun pictures of you and your family, the glimpses into your lifestule, your fashion sense and your witty, intelligent, emotional comments. All this would be watered down by pictures of other people which I can find elsewhere on the web if I want to.

  15. I'm not so sure about this new idea, I like your style, although I'm more the classic type. People who want to present their own style, have their own blog (like me: www.countessclaire.com, blink blink), others are not happy in showing their face.
