Rich woman

I had the two boys all by myself yesterday from early morning to late night. I was raining the whole day and for that reason it was sometimes a very l o n g and frustrating day where Alexis basically climbed on the walls at one period, had water pouring on the whole kitchen floor to just mentioned a few incidents that happened. On top of that he is in a quite un-charming *terrible two phase.
Many times I wanted to pull my hair out of exhaustion trying to stimulate him with Leon on my hip and not loosing my temper, but when I managed to bath them both at the same time in the evening and had them snuggeling up with me at the end - I truly felt what a rich woman I am and the love and gratefulness went out of proportions.

  5. Love, love, love when you give us glimpses of your everyday life like this! (I asked you on Instagram if Alexis was always "easy" and then you posted the pic where he lies on the ground.) Also, such a great contrast to the glamour pics to see you in sweat pants. I think also I love this post since I also, spent yesterday alone, in sweatpants, with a 3 months and a 2,5 yrs. I almost cried a couple of times because I feel so guilty when I get too angry or feel I should play more with the oldest, when I want to read and drink coffee instead.

Some days are just crazy. But maybe the imperfect days are what makes other days perfect. And maybe the fact that we are "humans" not perfect, also what develop our boys... to understand how relations and interactions work.

    Kram!

  8. stina thanks for being honest. sometimes i think moms cover up and pretend that every minute is pure joy and bliss . and i love my daugther to the moon and back but sometimes she can drive a sane person nuts... just breathe and be patient..

  10. Very rich indeed! What gorgeous pictures, and freshly bathed children are irresistible! We all have days like that, it certainly ebbs and flows, but wouldn't trade it for the world :)

Kram

  12. Dear Stina,

would you have any advice for me? My biggest dream and fantasy in this life has been to have a daughter. I feel so bad saying this but I'm totally heartbroken and depressed after finding out that I'm pregnant with a healthy little boy.

I've been crying hopelessly for days and can't stop. I feel like I have wrong baby in my belly and it physically hurts me to even think the fact that I'm not going to have a daughter that I've been longing for many many years. I have really black thought in my mind and my liife feels like a bad dream. Will I ever love him?

I know I may sound ungrateful and awful person, but this is how I really feel. :,(

    Br,
    one sad girl

    1. Dear Br,

I am not Stina, but I think the most important thing is to receive a healthy baby. Be grateful for that every single day. I am sure, that you will love him as much as you will do with a daughter, when you get him the first time in your arms. Do not fixate on the gender, it is of no significance. To feel happy is crucial for the well-beeing of your whole family and the baby in your belly. And look at Stina, she is so happy with her boys and they are so much fun.

I wish you all the best and lots of positive thoughts
      Jasmin

    2. I know exactly what you feel. I had the same wish and always saw myself with two girls and also by thinking how I was afraid the boys would leave me. Read under being pregnant the second time (label to the left in this blog) and you'll see.
All I cans ay that being a mother of two boys is so cool and I love it soo much! Little boys have such a love for their mother and most often, throughout all their life.
Embrace the pregnancy and all of this with a welcoming hand. It will be amazing and you will love this little boy beyond this world. I did. Everything has a meaning. There's a reason you got a boy!!!!

      Big hug,
      stina

    3. Thanks you (both) for your kind words and not judging me. I'm sure I will love my baby as soon as I get to see him, although I feel very sad at the moment.

  13. Yes, you are truly blessed and two times over. We have tried for so many years, but finally come to terms with the fact that it will never happen. Sadly! /Laila

  17. Now may be you can think to have a girl.. Even these 2 loves are so cute.

  18. So sweet so so the problem is that in a locative house they are very noisy for neighbourgs at the age Of Alexis.
It's a big problem for us they run on floor in wood all day only not when they have sieste.
It's horrible. From 8 to night. Two boys also. They should leave in a house for themselves only!
