A sleeping angel!!!...so adorable & cute! Love it!xxMel
Very! Thank you!
That's my standard christening gift!
Super süß dein Mr. L und wie liebevoll das Bett eingerichtet ist. Da kann man doch nur wie ein Engel schlafen :)
Leon is really a sleeping angel and you know that I admire very much your sense of fashion, your good taste, etc., but this time I am not found of these wings on the body.Hope you are not angry against me, but I always have been honest with you.HugsUtaUta
I have to agree with Uta. But perhaps for a different reason.....He is indeed a gorgeous little man, and your photo is beautiful (as is your blog) but my concern (from a medical point of view) is that the wings would not encourage him to sleep on his back - which is the preferred and recommended sleep position for the sleeping health of babies. I know many babies prefer to sleep on their tummies, and sometimes it is impossible to stop this from happening - but I think the attachment of these wings would deter this even more. If they were embroidered or printed - gorgeous! - but the raised nature of them worries me. I hope you don't take offence. It is just a particular interest and concern of mine,Best, Elizabeth
I love the wings, but I also wonder whether you are not afraid to put Leon on the belly like this. You must have heard that what is recommended is that they sleep on the back, particularly when there is a pillow in the baby cot. So unless you constantly supervise him when he is on the belly, it doesn't feel like a fully safe solution.
Uta, it's totally ok! I like it!Hugs, stina
Marta & Elisabeth: I get your point with the sleeping positions, there's been so many sayings throughout the years. First, make them sleep on the belly, then sleep on the side or back.In the night, Leo always sleeps on his back or on his side, but sometimes during days I supervise him sleeping on the belly because it's better for the body in the long run to sleep in different ways. My mother made me sleep on my belly the whole first year. that's what doctors recommended at the time and in some countries, they still do.Regarding the small angel wings - they are supersoft! So soft that you hardly can imagine and they can not disturb him at all, he actually slept in this body all night through without problems. They are thin even if they look hard and stiff, they are not. It's the greek princess Marie Chantal, which have four kids of her own, who designed it. So she would most certainly know what works on kids and what is nice for them!Thank you anyhow for these kind advices! But no worry!Best, stina
Such a cute photo. It brought a smile to my face this morning. Thank you.
Thank you for reading!
ohhh,es adorable su bebe,y ese body es precioso ,muy original con las alitas¡¡¡gracias por compartir,Isabel desde España.
So beautiful! Heart warming photo :)
I think so too!
I'm sure Stina knows what she is doing. Leon is her second child and unless I'm wrong the first one turned out just fine. Let's give her the benefit of the doubt: Maybe it's a nap and he is supervised, maybe this was just for the sake of the picture, maybe it's totally fine. I'm sure all the readers that are worried know that sometimes, your baby has to sleep on his belly, he won't fall asleep otherwise...
Thank you Emmitska, It was for a sort nap. mostly for the picture and I know pretty much about what you can't do for small babies since I like to read about it.Best, stina
ÅH, både han och bodyn är ju helt underbar :) . kram Linda
Thank you dear Linda!
I did not want to say something to you desrstina but Elisabeth and Marta are completely right it's better to avoid this kind of things for the back of Leon, even it looks very pretty.Monica
Thank you Monica, read the answers above! Best, stina
