Give them something to look at!

So these are the new shades shown in the post below. I mean, I love them! Since some days are still of the milder kind here in Zürich, I took the advantage of using my light cashmere coat in black'n white and swirled one of these just stunning cashmere/wool shawls in red around my neck. People always stare at me anyhow, so you might just give them something colourful to stare at?! Right?! But I got two kind compliments during the day, one from a very stylish mid-age woman and one from a man my age so people do appreciate when giving the world some colours. I most certainly love when people are trying to make the everyday shine for the surrounding.

Always strive to go your own way!

Have a lovely day!

  1. Ha ha, I can imagine that you attract attention. You are beautiful, cultivated and stylish.
I always feel better when I am well- dressed with a light every-day make-up and a nice haircut.
But looking around in my city I very often see women of my age who seem to be indifferent how they look.... It' s really a pity.
Wish you a nice day. Hugs B.

B - Yes there 's so many woman and men just don't care so I aways try to show my appreciation (with a smile or a compliment) to them who dare to stand out and do that little extra!

  3. WOW! That's all I have to say about your outfit. Thank you also for your latest post. I like your way of being honest when writing about your everyday life(with children life isn't always that glamorous) and pictures that tell more than thousand words about love and life. As a mother of three (1,5 yrs, 3,5 yrs and a teenager) I have kind of an idea ;-) /sophia

Yes, Red is perfect for popping up a winter tired face!

I don't use foundation, just blush a little bit of the mineral powder from I:D Bare Minerals.

It might be the photo which enhances my skin?

I'm about to get a dog, so currently I'm reading everything there is to read on the subject. Hope everything is well with Tiger the dog! Is chihuahua a breed you can recommend? I think they seem quite wonderful if you treat them right, which is the case with any breed. How is life with a small child and a chihuahua in your opinion?

    Best! <3

    1. Since I have cute some experience with big dogs though my neighbour when I grew up was a hunter in the military (or something) and he had big dogs, I always followed him and was trained by him. I could actually be in charge over a big German Scheppard and a Terverens by the age of 11 years old and was the Boss over them and they both obeyed as if I was a grown up man. My neighbour was brilliant in learning me how to take command over dogs and talk their language.

With that said - I raised Tiger as a big dog. Hard, lot's of training and tough training. Else Chihuahuas are very easily just a barking little rat and I would go insane over that. Chichuahua's are Mexican guard dogs from the beginning and one should have that in mind when choosing the breed. You ahve to be firm and not treat them as a cute little toy, they need a firm hand to be excellent pets.

Tiger is very well behaved, and obey t me like a military dog. That's why he is so lovely!

With small children, he is not the best. Children are not always kind to dogs and dogs fining it hard to understand them. A Golden retriever or Labrador is far much better, but with the right raising it will work out fine!

      Good Luck!

    1. Vad man svarar?

    2. It's exactly things like this which I hate with Stockholm and Sweden or small cities. Let people be who they want to be. Everyone is looking pretty much the same and that is boring. Stockholm is the ultimate city of beautiful people yes, but oh they very much look the same and a comment like this is just proving it to me. I've grown out of it.

To a child that stares to someone with big lips, a tattoo, handicapped, red hair, big nose, original outfit, limping etc etc, I would just simply explain - this girl, man, woman has this or that because she likes it and have done this or that, been through this or that and then end it with that all humans are different and some like this and some like that - and that is the beauty of life. The variety of the humans.
It's always better to be a little bit different then just being a part of a mass. We should encourage our children to do what they want and not be afraid to stand out or go their own way. The resentful attitude in schools, very often comes from that sort of thoughts back home.

You should have stopped me and say hi and they would have seen that there was nothing special with either me or my lips! Ha, ha ha ...

I understand that people look, probably often because I have chosen to have bigger lips then maybe the average person and I am ok with that. I do find it very particular though that people still stare, talk behind a back etc etc when someone looks a little different from the rest of the 99 percent of the popularity in general.

MIA: Well said, exactly my opinion! Thank you!

      Best,
      stina

    1. Hi Linn,

Thank you very much. I hardly do anything now and can't wait to buy a whole set of Jan Marini again and do some stringer treatments. I've just started to use Glycolic cream though a little.

I use a cream from Switzerland at the moment since I don't really know what to buy here, it's actually for the body but since I read about the ingredients, I know that they are very good now when I breastfeed and all.

But I still swear by J.M and I can't wait to do some Botox in my forehead again!!! That is amazing for the skin as well!

      Best,
      stina
