On the run ...

While I'm lacking time and a photographer for a daily dose of outfit pictures, i've taken snapshots in the run with my iPhone on my way out with the children. So these are a couple of my daily wear the last couple of days.

1. Burberry coat, trousers from Rebecca Stella, shoes: Zara & bag: Balenciaga. 2. blue fur cardigan: Versace, old leopard tights, wedge sneakers from Ash & bag: Louis Vuitton. 3. coat from Rodebjer (here), trousers: Rebecca Stella, wedge sneakers: Ash & bag: Balenciaga. Prada eyewear.

Hope you like them? Which is your favourite?

  1. Hej Stina,

    3. Karin & Anonymous: Karin, I have, just as A is saying, written a long text about that here: http://awomanalifeablog.blogspot.ch/2012/12/the-double-standard-of-humans.html

Thank you Dear A for explaining so kindly while my response was still lacking. I truly appreciate that you, as a vegan also can understand that the question itself is so complicated that hardly no one can stand up alone without doing something wrong.

That's all I have to say about it

      Best,
      stina

  2. All your outfits are stunning and the blue fur cardigan is my favorite. The vertical fur collar elongates your height and gives you that very tall, slim, classic glamour look. The blue fur must look striking (eye catching). Love it.

Also, I follow several blogs where originators follow you. I used to be able to click on the name of the individual that commented on your blog and hop over to the next blog. This no longer works. Did you change your blog settings? And can you enable this feature again?

    1. Carlisle: Thank you for this kind observation. I would love to look as you just described! And yes, the blue colour and the fur is far more striking in reality. The colour is vivid and more poppy!

I don't have the same problem and I haven't done any sort of changes (have hardly time to comment now a days ...).

  5. They are all beautiful on you and it depends on what you do with the one you wear and where you go.
I like very much the fur jacket without sleeves but I cannot really say which one I prefer, a part my obsession against your pompon hanged to the Birkin....

P.S. I would roll a cashmere or any kind around the neck of the 1st one to make it still more sophisticated. The collar for me is a little bit to small. But it's only my idea! Hugs

    1. Good idea Dear Uta. The temperatures here in Zurich are still so mild, I have hardly worn any shawls for a long time! Hope it's the same in France and that you health is by your side and not too challenging!

I know you don't like the pompom! Blink

  6. You always look great, but 4 is my favourite, all in all. I like 5 to, I think the fur west is great, but I would have chosen a darker bag.

  8. Gosh I don't have kids and don't make half the effort you do, I just don't have your discipline.

    1. Tabitha: It's no effort or hardly. Underneath i have either jeans or blake leggings, a cotton t-shirt and a cashmere sweater. Swear! It' looks like I've made a lot of effort since the details are nice! That for me is a well dressed parents secret! Because everything needs to be practical and functional at the same time!

But of course I am aware of the fact that I make more effort then a lot of mothers. It becomes quite obvious when I go to play parks, indoor play places etc.

It's in me. Like my need for air!

  11. You look so thin with these pants you should have a36 size which is very thin for your length. How do you do? I heard that nourrishing baby makes to help to be thinner.
Anyway my favourite is Nr 5 even I lile all of them.

    1. Thank you MK.

I don't do very much, wish I had time for Pilates or Yoga but not really yet when Leon is so small. Breastfeeding helps the first three weeks, then not at all if you ask me.

I eat three big portions of food and 2-3 between meals. And always something before bedtime because I cant sleep on a empty stomach!

    1. Yes we just did to the Philippine community. But I wish i had time to work with much more things like FF do or other charity or hands on projects. I'm much more of a person who would love to go to the place that needs help then just sending money and I will work with that in one way or another whenever my children are a little bit older.

      I'm impressed by FF! Bravo!

    2. Yes of course we love FF, her energy and work, but Anon this is not a post about Stina's donations or charity but about her outfits on the run which are really inspiring to many women who do many things: raise families, support their husbands AND donate to charities and help in their own communities as well as communities across the globe. Busy women get things done and I think Stina is a great example of that. I thank her for this and for sharing with us.

  18. Hi Stina, I realise that you are very busy but as you are responding to some comments could i ask you to respond to the comments of those whose advice you sought and received in your 'my boys' post. I understand it takes time to respond and that you do your best but i think it would perhaps be nice if you could acknowledge those comments too. I only ask as you took the time to respond to a couple of readers' comments but no one else's and because usually you are so good at responding to everyone (perhaps you have spoiled us)

  20. Vad bra att du trivs! Tycker du blev supersuperfin (-are:) i den frisyren. Kram

    1. Yes! Happy you also enjoy it!

No we have never gone skiiing together since I've always been pregnant or had a small baby to take care of. M s an AMAZING, crazy AMAZING skier (it's very sexy to watch him master this with such bravura). I'm mean if you're from switzerland I guess it's not that un common but anyhow. This week we'll try to get at lest half a day together in the mountains, but since I'm breastfeeding and Leon is still so small, you get the picture. We have a nanny for a few days but even so, I need to pump.
But we'tt try to put Alexis and his girlfriend on skies! Can't wait! Hope they like it!

      hugs,
