PILATES - my Happy Place

This building has started to become my Happy Place and I come here two times per week.
Taking the decision to start Pilates, taking control over my body, making sure I do the best for it to age the way I want it to - also came with another positive side effect. I feel so happy every time I'm there and I  feel how my body is reacting on all the typical movements and slowly turning into this war machine in strength and soft, long but toned muscles, exactly what I want. I have a clear goal with this training and these goals are for life. I want to be one of these women, with a body when I'm 55 years old, who have treated it with respect and given it the absolute best prerequisites to keep healthy and look as good as my genes and way of living allows.

    1. That works exactly in the direction I'm striving for.

      1. I haven't used Botox for the last three years or done ANY kind of treatments during this period.
      2. I will do Botox though any day now since I'm not breastfeeding anymore and can't stand those little wrinkles that I, for the first time in my life, see in my forehead. They make me look angry, old and just bitter.

Taking care of your self also includes your skin etc. I use 30spf and will start with chemical peelings again when I have time and when the sun is away, so referable in autumn. I don't do them often but they keep the cellular construction in the skin active and fresh.

Those two things as you mentioned, Botox and working in a beauty clinic (Medical aesthetic clinic, but anyhow) is very good for keeping yourself looking and feeling really good.

      Best,
      stina

    1. No I haven't really, but my life have been so stressful lately that my appetite is not the biggest. Nevertheless I eat regularly and probably around 5-6 times per day like usual but feel no really joy at the moment. To much chaos with two small children around dinner time.

I don't feel like eating that much meat though as I use to but M loves meat so we eat it anyway.

I love Schweizernöt, popcorn, chips, and salt liquorice or just swedish "plcokgodis" - so that I eat when I feel like it.

      Best,
      stina

  6. I´m so happy for you. I found kind of an inner peace two years ago while i discovered yoga for me. Now i make it regularly, only me, some candles and one of my favorite yoga trainers!
You just seem to develop, go on on this way and will find things that you though you have lost (can only speak for me, found peace, happy, joy and power;)!
    Hugs,
    Lena

  8. Well it is a good way to stretch and get stronger that way, but it isn't anything more.
