Windy in purple

This windy Saturday started so well, even though I had a weird feeling within my body. Alexis and me went to a child theatre and about 30min after we suddenly both started to womit and it continued for 24h. We're finally feeling better ... I mean, all the bugs that comes with kindergarden! Just got better from a cold and here comes this. We completely missed this beautiful autumn day that Sweden once again, offered. Well well ...
Alexis is wearing his favourite bomber jacket in dark blue and a matchy Jean Paul Gaultier knitted shawl for kids, both from Lindex. I'm in this stunning purple Chanel coat with knee boots and a cashmere underneath sweater and thinking If I should let my hair grow a little now when I've had this page for some time.

  1. Great pictures, my Dear! What a lovely coat! Regarding to your hair-I found your shorter hair very exquisit and suits you well!

    1. Thank you for this comment, I'm half half, maybe a pony tail would be more up liftning then my constant bun?

    2. I think your updo is stunning, I personally prefer that ( I'd look horrendous with it) so grow it longer and get the best of both worlds.

  2. My vote goes to a little bit longer hair! A shoulder length is very pretty and manageable =)

  3. I like your hair shorter and with your busy lifestyle, it's probably easier to manage. That coat is stunning; but then again, it's French .... !

    1. Thank you, but it's both ways. With longer you can just put it up and hide it, with shorter you need to blow dry it on the mornings ...

  6. First at all Alexis is really a pretty "big" boy now.
And you in this colour... No words but for me purple is deep red I dont now what is the name of this stunning blue but I think not purpple. Anyway with your blue eyes, skin, blond hair and the cut of Chanel's coat you .... I love.
Hope you feel better, here everyone sick also... Even with this beautiful autumn.
    Hugs

    1. Thank you dear Uta!

He is, and so lovable, a handful of course but loves to kiss and help me. Yes the coat is almost blueish in the shade! I agree!

  7. Goodmorning, You look stunning. I also feel bit poorly, tired and headache - I hope I won't be ill. I think you should let your hair grow long. Have a lovely day and hope you get energy back and feel well soon. Im thinking about getting a Hermes cashmere/silk shawl - would like it in cold colors like light purple. I tried the Colliers de chien, the silk one but it was to much gold/yellow in it. If anyone of Stinas kind readers with knowledge of Hermes scarf or shawls, got a suggestion for (pattern or style) me please tell me! Though I also found the pure silk one stunning but maybe the other one is more wearable? Best L

    1. If you can afford, I would strongly recommend the cashmere/silk GM instead of the normal silk ones. It's much nicer, warmer and more versatile. About the patterns, maybe someone else can be helpful?

    2. Thank you dear Stina, I will go for the cashmere/silk GM.
I wish you a nice and calm weekend, rest and breathe so your body can get strong again for next week, Im sure it will all change soon. Like you have taught me - how to think, believe and it will all go our way. Take care. Warm regards L.

    1. There's a Chanel store in almost all European countries, including Denmark, except Sweden and when you have a nice SA person, it's not very hard!

    2. Oh, yes in Europe (and Finland I think?), but is there really one in Denmark any more?? The one in Copenhagen closed a bit over a year ago if I remenber correctly, and I have not heard that a new one has opened yet? Since I buy things very seldom I like to go into the store, but so hard when there is none nearby... But of course - with a good SA everything is easier!! And when you know your size, materials etc. But the coats are really gorgeous!! Laila

    3. No Chanel store in CPH. The store in Finland is a multibrand store, which has decent amount of Chanel things for sale, but I am not sure about clothing (bags, shoes and jewelry for sure).

  10. I really like your bob - suits you a lot, and to be fair, not many can carry it off (and I'm simply not brave enough)! The coat is the envy of most women no doubt - absolutely stunning!

    3. You must refer to Della Marga store in Helsinki which sells Chanel among other brands?
As far as I know there is no Chanel's own brand store in Helsinki (wish there were, though :))

  12. This coat is stunning, as well as your other Chanel coat in black and white. New purchases? A little bit longer hair would be lovely. Hope you and cute Alexis feel much better today. Hugs B.

  13. i like you hair both short and long, your face makes every haircut beautiful. however, i tend to notice in myself that every time i start to think about making a change, that its the right time to do so :) cutting your hair shorter again is always possible, so why not try having it a little bit longer again. Hugs from Germany and get well soon!

  17. We don't have a Chanel store in Helsinki but a small "shop-in-shop" in Della Marga store. They sell quite small collection of accessories but not clothes.
