Another one

Apologise for the lack of updates recently but my mood and energy has been tormented by a lot of migraine in a bad combination of some sort of "weather depression". I'm so sensitive to what's outside my window in the morning, I must have been born in another (warmer, sunnier) continent in my former life. I really get into some sort of blues when it's just cold, grey and rainy.
If that wasn't enough for my poor soul I'm also very impacted my PMS, (pree-menstrual symptoms) and most of you women out there probably know what I'm talking about. Suddenly life feels like in incognito, black and nothing is fun and everything is just doll and has no meaning. When the period is over you feel reborn again and life is easier, lighter and you understand that yet again, it was this hormonal devil ruining your senses.

Anyhow, to celebrate the first sunshine yesterday I ordered this lovely coat express from my favourite Scandinavian online store and it arrived today. It may sound superficial but a coat can really cheer me up in a gloomy everyday life. I just can't wait to use it with my light blue Chanel bag.

  2. Hi Stina,
I totally share your sentiments for gloomy weather. I remember the depressing autumns I experienced whilst living in Germany. Fortunately, I am so blessed with sunshine and clear blue skies in Perth now. Come visit! :-D
If you have to shop a little to brighten the mood, I say, "Why not!!?" :-) I do the same. At the very least, hubby returns home to a happier wife. LOL
    xx,
    Suzanne.

  3. Stina, I hope you feel better. I struggle with depression, too, so I understand how hard it can be just to get through the day. Your coat is gorgeous! --With affection from New Orleans, USA, Slade Cullen

    1. Yes, I don't suffer from Depression but feel low before and during my period. But I know what a depression is, it's horrible but you will find a way to get throughout it and when you have, your will forever be more humble towards life in general! Good luck!

  5. Stina,
Can I recommend that you consult with a nutritionist who will advise you on what foods to avoid and perhaps natural supplementation to your diet.
A session with a cranio-osteopath may also help. Best wishes.

  6. Stina I have also a depression, but for you, I dont think it is. Everyone can be fed up from time to time.
Anyway, your coat is absolutely gorgeous I like the geometrical design.
I send a special message of encouragement for all depressed persons. It's so hard to force ourself' to go during all day!
Your are my favorite blog, you are such a beauty, and generous person.

  7. Very nice coat, looking forward to seeing you wear it. I too feel so depressed about our Swedish weather, and am very tempted to shop nice things to cheer me up, anything - for the house, make-up, clothes, shoes - just something that for a moment would make me feel happier... But today the sun is out so hopefully it will be a warm and nice day. Hope your migranes give in soon so you can feel better. //Laila

    1. Only a Swedish person can truly understand the weather situation here . We have to stay strong and later on, move away from here!

      Take care!

  8. Dear Stina, i noticed an impact on my mood during pms from taking magnesium supplements. My pregnant neighbour gave me hers- the one the doc recommends if you are having cramps during pregnancy. It was a miracle! Hope you feel better soon, love from Berlin/ K.

  9. All it takes for me to cheer up is the sun to shine, it isn't good for me to stay in Scotland either, too many grey flat days which drag me down.
Where can we escape to Stina?

  10. How right it is! Since I am here im Barcelona only from
Yesterday, i already have recuperated my down moral, I feel cheer and I was really depressed 2 days ago.
The sun, people so kind, good food, wine, a lot of people on all terraces ,everywhere, at seaside paella with wine on a terrace, ohlala I regenerate, so I really understand how you feel dearest. I was worse than you when we left.x Why this year is so particular? Everyone is such in a bad mood I never heard so many complains and sadness.
