Country side life

Everyone who knows me, knows how much I love being out in the nature. I find strenght in the calm forest, full of natural beauty and understand my smallness close to this endless and alive ocean. The kids have been taken out like this ever since they where newborn and I love exploring the simplicity of what we have around us in the country side in the Swedish archipelago. Life is so simple, you live in soft and practical clothes and the kids are dirty and tired in the evening from all wonderful country air. I never sleep as well as out there.
In a few weeks we're spending a long weekend in our family house again, let's just hope the sun decides to show itself a little bit more generous.

  1. Such lovely photos Stina, the kids are growing up and look so happy playing outside. The cold appears to be leaving you! Gorgeous photo of you and your mum walking.

  2. Så ljuvligt! Så fin familj du har både föräldrar som man och barn. Och lille Leon som går så fint själv utan ha vagn eller så. Pratar han än något? Du får energi av naturen och jag får energi av din blogg! :)

    1. It was such a cosy time. Leon says a few words like "titta här", bajsa, ko, no etc etc but can't formulate any sentences yet.

I'm so happy to hear that!

  5. What a lovely time you seem to have had, with children, parents and dog! Lovely. And nature is the best "refueller" I know. But I do hope summer is coming soon, a bit warmer and no rain... So long for it! /Laila

  7. "A something in a summer's Day
As slow her flambeaux burn away
    Which solemnizes me.
    A something in a summer's noon --
    A depth -- an Azure -- a perfume --
    Transcending ecstasy.
And still within a summer's night
    A something so transporting bright
I clap my hands to see --
Then veil my too inspecting face
Lets such a subtle -- shimmering grace
Flutter too far for me --
The wizard fingers never rest --
The purple brook within the breast
Still chafes it narrow bed --
Still rears the East her amber Flag --
Guides still the sun along the Crag
    His Caravan of Red --
So looking on -- the night -- the morn
    Conclude the wonder gay --
And I meet, coming thro' the dews
    Another summer's Day!"
