Party for ...

// DADDY //

So we were so happy arriving to celebrate my fathers birthday and it was great until I, one hour in to it, got a migraine attack and sat mostly in a the corner in a sofa trying to escape the pain until we could go home. So my Saturday was spent in the bed until the evening. I hate migraine so much, it's NOT headache, if you haven't had it you will never understand.

  2. Yes I know someone who has migraines, its hoooooorrrible.
She left for Spain and very curious in the hospital in Marbella, they find the way to stop these migraines she had since ever. I am a little bit surprised by that.... Because in Sweden or Switerland I think medicin more evoluated than there.... Maybe, the climate.... But I know how horrible it is..
In any way your are gorgeous.

  3. Nej, så trist! Migränen kan verkligen ställa till det. Min man har det och det enda som hjälper är att gå och lägga sig och försöka somna. Allt annat avstannar verkligen. Din klänning med svanar på ser superskön ut och är så fin! MVH Laila

    1. Yes, pretty much!

Thank you, theta dress, now have it in two colors, it's so perfect since it works both for everyday with boots and party with high heels. The older I get, the less slim i want!

  5. So sorry that you had a migraine attack. I wonder if this is an allergic reaction or something else? Have you been evaluated to find a cause? You are young a vital and should not have to experience these attacks! I hope your father enjoyed his B-day...

  6. They're wretched things and I get them now and then. Have you ever tried Sumatriptan as it works for me in about 30 minutes when I take it-it might be worth giving it a try?

Hope you're feeling much better now!

    1. Yes I have and it doesn't not, I have to have stronger Triptaner and normally take two attack medicines for it to work!

  7. I hope you get to find the right diagnose that will help you! For me it were the birth contraception hormons.
There are ways how to avoid those awful attacks. Even if you can't eliminate them, you can reduce the frequency. I really hope you find it, too. ((((Stina))))

PS: I will not list all the possible triggers. All I can say is that I know several patients who have sufferend from migraines, all solved the issue and all had different triggers. :-o
If you feel like the meds in Sweden don't provide the proper answers, ask us. There is so much intel out there in the internet.

    1. Yes, i have a lot of triggers:

      - too little or too much sleep
      - too much suger or carbs on a empty stomach
      - Light
      - emotional change
      - Travels
      - lot of feelings
      - alkohol and cigarettes
      - menstrual period and hormones with it
      - too strong spices
      - Flash from a camera

My attacks are treated with epileptic medicine since they act the same without the life threatening cramps.

Please write if you have more suggestions on triggers. I know milk products and gluten is for many.

      Hugs,
      stina
