Autumn break

// US //

Today is the second week of Alexis school autumn break. The first week he flew with his father to Geneva to spend a nice week with his grandparents and this week is partly mine. Any tips on what to do with a boy 5.5years old? I went to Junibacken today and it was nice but a lot of children, my mind is lacking imagination, any suggestions?

    Normally all museums have activities during autumn break. Historiska and Moderna usually have craft shops for kids. I guess indoor will be a must du to the poor weather we are expecting. ...

    Have you tried the new restaurant/café at Stockholmsvägen? Triften is a cosy place even if it looks boring in the neighbourhood.

    I would also visit Barnens handelsbod and maybe fika at the station café next door

  2. My son and a friend always liked computer gaming arcades. Movies, children's museums, mountain climbing, whale watching, and sailing. On occasion, during school brake, we traveled abroad and my son brought along a friend. When traveling in Europe, he loved visiting castles and learning European history. Your one-on-one time with Alexis is so special. Enjoy. Susan

  4. Go berserk at Panduro, go home and make secret saffron bread and craft this years Xmas ornaments! Then, enjoy the sweets and a cup of hot chocolate I'm front of a Disney cavalcade.
